Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality radiologic exams to support quality patient care
  • Educate patients on radiologic procedures and safety protocols. 
  • Consistently performs radiation safety in accordance with ALARA 
  • Support the radiologist and evaluates imaging for quality and accuracy
  • Assist patients with positioning for the exam
  • Ensure that imaging equipment is in optimum order and inform the appropriate person when repairs are needed. 

Qualifications

Job Requirements: 

  • Graduate of an accredited ARRT Radiology Technology school
  • Kansas State Board of Healing Arts License within 6 months of hire
  • ARRT (R) registered
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Preference will be given to ARRT (R) registered Radiologic Technologist with prior work experience in a healthcare setting.
