Foley Equipment, the authorized Caterpillar dealer for Kansas and northwest Missouri, is seeking a Technical Training Instructor to join our dynamic team. What You Will Do in This Role:

Research, plan, organize, and conduct comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills of Foley’s workforce.
Develop and distribute instructional materials, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids to optimize the learning experience.
Collaborate with other departments to deliver specialized training programs based on their requests.
Ensure timely completion of all required documentation and follow-up activities.
Keep training courses up to date with the latest technical developments.
Schedule, test, and certify technicians on relevant equipment, ensuring a high level of competency.
Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.

Ability to interpret and apply technical documents, safety rules, operating procedures, and maintenance instructions.
Positive and upbeat attitude with excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with a diverse customer base.
Strong planning and organizational abilities to deliver structured and effective training programs.
Ability to present and facilitate skills to engage and educate participants.
High school diploma is required.

What Will Put You Ahead:

Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
Experience as a professional technical trainer or educator specializing in diesel troubleshooting, repairs, and education
Previous experience as a heavy equipment technician
Previous experience in construction, automotive, or agricultural industries
