Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the safe delivery, appropriate and effective respiratory treatment to critical and non-critical patients in accordance to current standards of practice, physician's orders, staffing levels and organizational policies
  • Provide direct invasive and non-invasive cardiopulmonary exams and procedures
  • Attend professional meetings and maintains credentials and/or licensure
  • Communicate and listen effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge
  • Cooperate and interact with leaders, peers, other departments and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to service

Qualifications

Job Requirements: 

  • Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy
  • RRT by the NBRC and licensure by the State Board of Healing Arts
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • One year Clinical Experience
