Maintenance Technician (PLC & Automation Focus)
Location: Kingman, AZ
Shift: Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Compensation: Starting at $30.00 per hour
(Flexibility for overtime and weekend hours required based on business needs)
Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Kingman facility. This role is designed for a technician who excels at both high-level automation troubleshooting and hands-on mechanical repair. You will be responsible for maintaining production equipment and control systems to ensure maximum efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities
- Automation & Electrical: Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, 480V 3-phase motors, VFDs, and Servo motors.
- PLC Programming: Utilize PLC technology (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) to diagnose automation issues and improve equipment capability.
- Mechanical Maintenance: Perform repairs and installations on plant equipment, including piping (cutting, threading, and welding).
- Pump & Fluid Systems: Maintain and rebuild progressive cavity, diaphragm, and gear-driven pumps.
- Utility Systems: Maintain industrial air compressors, pneumatic piping, steam boilers, and thermal oil heaters.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly follow OSHA standards, including Lock Out, Tag Out, Try (LOTO) and confined space protocols.
Required Skills & Experience
- Technical Background: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Electrical Expertise: Proven ability to read and understand electrical schematics and work with 480V 3-phase voltage.
- Mechanical Proficiency: Experience in mechanical troubleshooting, pipe fitting, and the use of arc welders or acetylene torches.
- Diagnostic Tools: Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and PLC diagnostic software.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. 5–7 years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial setting is preferred.
Working Conditions
- Environment: Fast-paced industrial setting with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work from ladders and lifts; proficiency with power tools, grinders, and saws.
- Safety Gear: Proper PPE (eye/hearing protection and safety-toe boots) is required at all times.
