ROLE SUMMARY:Ā āÆĀ
Sales RepresentativesĀ are responsible forĀ being full āownersā over their sales route, determined to grow market share in all segments of the business by drawing on the Companyās vast portfolio and engaging consumers through point of sale, shelf assortment, and creative displays at retail accounts. In addition, a Sales RepresentativeĀ identifiesĀ new markets and business opportunities to increase market share while building andĀ maintainĀ relationships with accounts and retailers. JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:āÆĀ
Responsible for fulfilling pre-establishedĀ objectivesĀ set by the District Sales Manager and implementation of Company programs at retail level.Ā
Visit assigned retail accounts andĀ utilizeĀ company portfolio to sell volume, increase distribution,Ā monitorĀ price, and manage shelf spaceĀ
Build business relationships with and present professional sales presentations using sales data and sell sheetsĀ
Increase shelf space and position for Anheuser-Busch products; introduceĀ new brandsĀ and packages when appropriateĀ
Responsible forĀ maintainingĀ published product freshness standards in assigned retail accounts by monitoring and rotating stocksĀ
Negotiate the terms ofĀ anĀ agreement and close salesĀ
Work with the credit department to resolve creditĀ issuesĀ including collecting past due balances.Ā
Gather market and customer information and provide feedback to District Manager on buying trendsĀ
Participate in new product launch events including tastings / samplings. The beverage industry is meant to be fun!Ā
Responsible for daily decisionsĀ regardingĀ retail inventory levels using past sales history, changes in climate, competitive activity, special promotional activities, and any other available informationĀ
Attend sales meetings to discuss sales issues, opportunities to improve sales efforts, and share best practicesĀ
Act as full business āownerā of your route to grow net revenue and help the company Lead Future GrowthĀ
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:āÆĀ
Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driverās license and safe driving recordĀ
High school diploma or GEDĀ requiredĀ (no degreeĀ requiredĀ for any position within AB ONE Wholesalers!)Ā
Able and willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.Ā
Highly self-motivated and organized with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.Ā
Solid interpersonal skills and team orientationĀ
Comfort level with change and ability to adapt quickly to changing prioritiesĀ
1+ years of warehouse, delivery, sales, or merchandising experience preferredĀ
Experience in data gathering/analysis,Ā identifyingĀ trends/gaps, building action plans, and driving executionĀ
Strong selling and negotiation skillsĀ
Strong customer service skills and ability to grow and lead customer relationshipsĀ
Ability to understand and read invoices, load sheets, job orders, and installation instructions as well as ability to calculate simple math functionsĀ
Ability to move products, hang merchandise, and fulfill other physical requirements including repetitive lifting, bending, and pulling/pushingĀ
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and ability to learn new software programsĀ
PreviousĀ consumer packaged goods / beverage industry experience preferredĀ
Advanced degree preferred (Associates, Bachelors, etc.)āÆĀ
