Stepping Stones Therapy, Inc., a leading pediatric private practice, is seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) to join our growing team.
This is a full-time, 4-day work week position, allowing clinicians to enjoy an excellent work-life balance while maintaining a full-time schedule and benefits.
The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide comprehensive speech-language evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy services to pediatric clients in an outpatient clinic setting. The SLP will collaborate closely with families and an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality, family-centered care while supporting each child's communication development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, social communication, and pediatric feeding/swallowing disorders, consistent with clinical competency.
- Interpret assessment results and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans based on each child's strengths and needs.
- Provide evidence-based speech-language therapy to pediatric clients with a variety of communication disorders, including:
- Articulation and phonological disorders
- Receptive and expressive language disorders
- Social-pragmatic communication disorders
- Fluency disorders
- Voice disorders
- Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
- Pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders (within scope of competency)
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation, including evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress reports, re-evaluations, and discharge summaries.
- Collect and analyze objective data to monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Educate, coach, and collaborate with parents and caregivers to facilitate carryover of therapeutic strategies into daily routines.
- Collaborate with physicians, educators, occupational therapists, physical therapists, behavioral providers, and other professionals involved in client care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, case consultations, and treatment planning.
- Develop engaging, individualized therapy activities and materials to support client success.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly therapy environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development activities.
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), Clinical Fellows, graduate students, or support staff, when applicable and in accordance with California regulations and ASHA guidelines.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations, clinic policies, the ASHA Code of Ethics, and all applicable California licensure requirements.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
- Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility for licensure for Clinical Fellows).
- CCC-SLP preferred; strong Clinical Fellow candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to pass a background check and TB clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with pediatric clients in an outpatient clinic, school, or early intervention setting.
- Knowledge of evidence-based pediatric assessment and treatment approaches.
- Experience with AAC, autism spectrum disorders, pediatric feeding and swallowing, gestalt language processing, or early intervention is preferred but not required.
