| Maintains patient's charts including ensuring that all documents are properly stamped with correct patient identification ensuring that all necessary forms are located in the chart filing reports disassembling charts and preparing for pick-up by medical records upon discharge of patient assuring that charts of deceased patients are sent promptly to the Nursing Office assisting with 24 hour chart audits | |

| Maintains a safe working environment by keeping nursing station and patient care areas free of hazards and clutter alerting appropriate resources of faulty or broken equipment following infection control guidelines including cleaning of surfaces and cabinets at intervals that are determined necessary for maintaining a sanitary patient care environment maintaining current safety updates and BLS initiating appropriate emergency measures as directed recognizing and reporting unsafe acts. | |

| Completes work left from previous shift and reports any incomplete work at the end of the shift to ensure continuity. | |
