Experienced Veterinary Technician

North Torrington Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full-time veterinary technician to join our team! A positive, team player attitude, with excellent communication skills, is a must. The ideal candidate will be comfortable properly handling and restraining animals, understands the importance of client education, have knowledge of in-clinic laboratory equipment, is able to collect samples, feels comfortable working with other technicians and veterinarians, takes pride in a clean and organized animal hospital, and is a positive and supportive team player. If you are in search of a work-life balance, a positive culture, and a great professional team who is passionate about veterinary medicine, we want to talk with you!
Job Requirements / Responsibilities
At least two years of experience working as a Veterinary Technician preferred
Working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment
Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
Has experience with proper animal handling and restraint
Passion for working with animals and their owners
Works well as part of a team
Excellent communication and organizational skills

Pay Range: $20.00-$25.00 based on experienceÂ
Hours of Position are 35-40 weekly.
