The Content area teachers: English, Science & Math teachers will plan and provide appropriate learning experiences for students in an alternate educational setting. The certified teacher in this position is responsible for helping to create a learning environment that provides specialized instruction for a small group student who may need: 1:1 and/or small group instruction, lessons & activities for a variety of learning styles, and someone who is patient and flexible.

CE, CEAS or Standard certification- welcomed!

Hours: M-F, 8:15-2:30, 1/2 lunch, hourly rates from $42-$46 depending on experience

Job Type: Part time, could lead to full time

Responsibilities include:

• Develop lesson plans, assignments and activities that reflect individual needs, goals, and objectives according to content area.
• Establish and follow routine and schedule to provide maximum learning time.
• Establish and maintain an environment conducive to learning.
• Utilize appropriate curricula, materials, and behavioral techniques.
• Complete all required paperwork in a professional and timely manner.
• Always supervise students in the classroom.
• NJ Teaching certification in the content area you are applying for:  CE, CEAS, Standard
