What You'll Do Prepare sites by clearing debris, grading soil, and setting up work areas. Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and turf according to design plans. Operate hand tools and power equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers. Assist in installing irrigation systems, retaining walls, and other landscape features. Maintain landscapes through mowing, pruning, fertilizing, and seasonal clean-ups. Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and your team. What You'll Bring Strong physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Experience with basic landscaping tools and equipment (or a willingness to learn quickly). QualificationsLandscape laborers need physical stamina, knowledge of horticulture, proficiency with tools, and the ability to work outdoors in various conditions. Core Responsibilities Landscape laborers perform tasks essential to creating and maintaining outdoor spaces, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, soil preparation, grading, mulching, and irrigation system installation. They also maintain landscapes by watering, trimming, weeding, and fertilizing to ensure healthy and aesthetically pleasing grounds    Laborers may assist with construction tasks, debris removal, and operating hand and power tools safely   Physical and Environmental Requirements Physical stamina and strength: Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), dig, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods   Outdoor work readiness: Comfortable working in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain    Manual dexterity: Proficiency in using shovels, rakes, pruners, wheelbarrows, mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers   Skills and Knowledge Horticultural knowledge: Understanding of plant care, soil types, irrigation systems, and pest management    Attention to detail: Ensuring landscapes are maintained according to design plans and identifying potential issues like disease or pests  .
