About the Job:
This position of Cashier will be working in a local school kitchen/cafeteria. Monday through Friday, 8am - 2pm.
Duties may include:
- Handle student lunch sales
- Operate the cafeteria computer Point of Sale and cash register
- Sanitation in conjunction with USDA and state guidelines
- HAACP and health department regulation compliance
Qualifications:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure; and ability to make currency change
- Food service experience preferred
- Point of Sale experience preferred
- The ability to obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks required
- A positive and consistent work ethic
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- A willingness to learn and grow within your position
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Physical Requirements May Include:
- Standing for long periods of time
- Sitting, pushing, pulling
- Walking
