Position Overview
Jenkins Plumbing is seeking a Front Desk / Scheduling Coordinator to support daily branch operations by assisting with customer communication, scheduling, administrative support, and office coordination. This position plays an important role in helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations between the office, field technicians, management, and customers.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, professional, and able to multitask in a fast-paced plumbing and service environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule service calls and coordinate technician schedules throughout the day
- Communicate updates, schedule changes, and customer concerns to management and field staff
- Assist with dispatching and daily workflow coordination
- Greet customers, vendors, and visitors entering the office
- Support branch operations with filing, scanning, data entry, and general administrative tasks
- Maintain organized office records and documentation
- Assist with processing paperwork related to work orders, invoices, and customer information
- Monitor office emails and ensure messages are communicated promptly
- Help maintain office supply inventory and overall office organization
- Support payroll/timekeeping communication by collecting and relaying employee information as needed
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality regarding company and employee information
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous office, customer service, scheduling, dispatching, or administrative experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and email systems
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience
- Experience in plumbing, construction, HVAC, or service industries preferred
- Scheduling or dispatching experience is a plus
- Familiarity with office management or payroll/timekeeping systems preferred
Work Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday–Friday
- Hours may vary depending on operational needs
