Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Millwrights for projects located in the Maryville, TN area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

Set, place, and align industrial equipment and machinery
Perform heavy rigging using chain falls, come-alongs hoists, forklifts and cranes
Read blueprints, layout drawings, and installation specifications
Install, level, and anchor machinery to precise tolerances
Assemble and disassemble industrial equipment and components
Assist with conveyor systems, production equipment, and mechanical installs
Work safely around active industrial environments and tight deadlines

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of millwright experience
Strong background in rigging and equipment setting
Experience operating around cranes and heavy equipment preferred
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
Basic millwright tools
OSHA 10 is a plus
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
