Housekeeper

Position: Housekeeper Full-Time 

Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday (No Weekends, No Holidays) within our Independent Living 

Pay:  $15.75 - $17.75/ hour based on years of experience

Blakehurst is seeking Housekeepers to join our team! This position is responsible for maintaining the clean and presentable appearance of the Health Center.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Performs general housekeeping duties in the Health Center, such as: resident rooms, restrooms, beauty shop, offices and all common areas.
• Assists in thorough cleaning of health center rooms.
• Follows infection control policies and procedures.
• Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to move 25 pounds.
• Be ready to work and greet everyone with a smile!!!

All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
