This position will involve teaching sections of Middle Level Science.   Grounded in Catholic teaching and inspired by the charism of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, we expect our employees to foster a culture in which students are encouraged to explore their passions, deepen their faith, and build lasting bonds of sisterhood.   Annual dates for the 10-month position are August 16th to June 15th (as well as attending new employee orientation August 17, 18 & 19, 2026).     Key Responsibilities: Teach Middle Level Science classes to Grades 6 – 8. Work collaboratively with members of the Science department on developing/improving curriculum. Work collaboratively with the Middle Level team to plan and implement advisory activities. Participate in ongoing professional development. Participate in the school community with other duties as assigned, such as 6th Grade advisory. QualificationsDesired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in science (biology, chemistry, or physics) or closely related field required. Masters degree in Science, Education or related field preferred.
