ABOUT THE ROLEÂ
The Senior Analyst supports Bolton’s Investment Consulting Group (ICG) through a combination of investment research and client service across a range of institutional retirement plan clients. Working closely with the CIO, the research team, and Bolton consultants, this individual conducts investment analysis and manager due diligence while serving as a primary analytical and operational resource for client-facing teams and interacting directly with plan sponsors, recordkeepers, and other service providers. The role suits an experienced professional with broad institutional investment consulting experience who can apply strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills across multiple client and plan contexts while managing several high-priority projects with minimal oversight.Â
WHAT YOU’LL DOÂ
- Serve as a primary analytical and operational resource to consultants for assigned institutional investment clients, interacting directly with plan sponsorsÂ
- Prepare investment memorandums and analyze financial and economic information to support recommendations for clients and Bolton’s Investment CommitteeÂ
- Conduct due diligence reviews and assist with the selection and monitoring of investment managersÂ
- Serve as the subject matter expert on performance reporting, preparing monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc client reports and analysesÂ
- Support plan operations and service provider coordination, including DC recordkeeping, onboarding, and transitionsÂ
- Assist with the development, review, and maintenance of Investment Policy Statements (IPS) and related governance documentationÂ
- Support service provider searches and RFPs, and contribute to business development proposalsÂ

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORÂ
Required QualificationsÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Â
- Minimum of 5 years in institutional investment consulting, retirement plan operations, or a related fieldÂ
- Substantive experience with either investment manager due diligence or performance reportingÂ
- Experience interacting directly with plan sponsors and supporting client-facing consultants, plus exposure to service provider searches, RFPs, or vendor evaluationsÂ
- Strong understanding of retirement plan operations, manager due diligence, and service provider relationshipsÂ
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects with minimal oversight, with excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skillsÂ
Preferred QualificationsÂ
- Prior experience working for or closely with a retirement plan recordkeeperÂ
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter, or active progress toward completionÂ
- Familiarity with performance reporting tools and recordkeeping platformsÂ
- Experience supporting service provider transitions or implementationsÂ

COMPENSATION & BENEFITSÂ
Salary Range: $80,000 – $95,000
(Actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and location.)Â
