We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to help support that mission.     JOB SUMMARY                                                                             A Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems within a facility, ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely by identifying issues, ordering necessary parts, and completing repairs in a timely manner; often including emergency response to urgent breakdowns.   RESPONSIBILITIES  Preventative maintenance  Regularly inspecting and servicing equipment according to scheduled maintenance plans, including lubrication, cleaning, and component replacements   Troubleshooting and repair  Diagnosing malfunctions in equipment, identifying root causes, and performing repairs to restore functionality  Emergency response  Responding to urgent equipment failures outside of regular working hours to minimize downtime  Parts management  Maintaining inventory of common replacement parts and ordering new parts as needed  Documentation  Keeping detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment conditions  Safety compliance  Adhering to safety procedures and regulations when performing maintenance     Great Benefits  Highly Competitive Pay  Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance  401k with company match  Paid Time Off  Paid Certification Training  Opportunity for advancement  QUALIFICATIONS                                  Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems  Troubleshooting skills: Ability to diagnose equipment issues and identify solutions effectively  Hand tools proficiency: Skillful use of various hand tools and power tools  Basic computer skills: Familiarity with maintenance management software (CMMS) to log work orders and track equipment history  Problem-solving abilities: Capability to analyze situations, identify root causes and implement solutions  Physical ability: Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders and work in confined spaces  Forklift certified (will train and certify)  Welding, Fabrication and some electrical experience preferred    WORK CONDITIONS    Physical Demands/Work Environment:    This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs.  It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.  This list is not meant to cover every possible scenario but simply provide an outline.  Employees may be assigned other tasks as needed.   Equal Employment Opportunity All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
