Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a trusted provider of commercial trade services, supporting new construction, tenant improvements, and a wide range of service projects. We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team and help coordinate daily operations under the direction of department management.

Schedule

Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a rotating on call weekend shift

Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse and yard operations to ensure safe, efficient, and organized workflows
Develop, implement, and maintain warehouse procedures in accordance with company policies and operational best practices
Coordinate the delivery, pickup, and distribution of materials, equipment, and tools for commercial construction and service projects throughout the region
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct routine inventory audits
Participate in employee interviews, onboarding, coaching, performance evaluations, corrective actions, and employee development
Supervise warehouse personnel, delivery drivers, and mechanics by assigning work, monitoring productivity, and promoting accountability
Review employee timecards and coordinate time-off requests in accordance with company policies
Ensure company vehicles, heavy equipment, and tools are inspected to verify they are safe, operational, and ready for use
Coordinate with the Purchasing and Accounts Payable departments regarding vendor invoices, purchase orders, and inventory-related transactions
Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA/Cal/OSHA regulations, DOT requirements, and workplace safety standards
Provide operational updates and departmental reports to management
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

Two or more years of supervisory experience in the construction industry or construction materials supply chain
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and mobile technology
Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
