Description

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a trusted provider of commercial trade services, supporting new construction, tenant improvements, and a wide range of service projects. We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team and help coordinate daily operations under the direction of department management.


Schedule

Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a rotating on call weekend shift 


Responsibilities  

  • Oversee daily warehouse and yard operations to ensure safe, efficient, and organized workflows
  • Develop, implement, and maintain warehouse procedures in accordance with company policies and operational best practices
  • Coordinate the delivery, pickup, and distribution of materials, equipment, and tools for commercial construction and service projects throughout the region
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct routine inventory audits
  • Participate in employee interviews, onboarding, coaching, performance evaluations, corrective actions, and employee development
  • Supervise warehouse personnel, delivery drivers, and mechanics by assigning work, monitoring productivity, and promoting accountability
  • Review employee timecards and coordinate time-off requests in accordance with company policies
  • Ensure company vehicles, heavy equipment, and tools are inspected to verify they are safe, operational, and ready for use
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing and Accounts Payable departments regarding vendor invoices, purchase orders, and inventory-related transactions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA/Cal/OSHA regulations, DOT requirements, and workplace safety standards
  • Provide operational updates and departmental reports to management
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Two or more years of supervisory experience in the construction industry or construction materials supply chain
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and mobile technology
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
