Primary Purpose

Oversee day-to-day operations at individual Grain Facility.  These operations include Safety, Environmental, employee retention, meeting operational goals, receiving and keeping grain in quality standards, loading grain out for sales, customer service, communication with support departments.

Schedule: The typical schedule is 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with peak harvest season requiring 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shifts, 6–7 days per week, depending on harvest needs.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Oversee day-to-day operations at individual Grain Facility, provide proper direction and support.
  2. Safety/Enviro/Regulatory Compliance-provides direct support to meet certifications (i.e. Lock out, Tag Out and Fork lift). Ensures certifications don't lapse.
  3. Assist the Grains Facility Manager on execution of projects.
  4. Operations and Quality - receiving and keeping grain in quality standards.
  5. People Management - To increase retention focus on providing direction and support to achieve goals. Making certain all tools are in place for success at job.

Qualifications

  • College Preferred, High School Diploma minimum.
  • 1-3 years experience.
  • Evidence of skill in leading people, customer service, and comprehension of complex processes; the ability to quickly learn and then teach new things; evidence of mechanical aptitude and financial understanding; solid math, written, and verbal skills; competent in relevant computer programs.
  • Must be able to climb up to 150 feet.
