About the role


Trinity College London is looking for a Data Engineer to join their Product team. You will play a crucial role in shaping and building the data infrastructure that powers our insights, analysis, and innovation. As Data Engineer you will design and deliver scalable data pipelines and solutions using expertise in data modelling.


Key accountabilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Data pipeline development
  • Data storage management and quality assurance
  • Performance optimisation
  • Security and compliance


About you


In this role you will need to be an excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills. The ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audience is crucial to the role. Alongside these skills we are also looking for:


  • Demonstrable experience as a Data Engineer 
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, data structures and databases
  • Proficient in using Python and SQL
  • An understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards
  • Experience delivering in an agile environment
