We are looking for an experienced Logger to join our busy Documentaries team.

The successful candidate will bring a strong background of working on premium features or HETV content, as well as experience with archive-heavy projects.

A passion for motorsport, in particular Formula 1, is desirable.

A working knowledge of Avid would be desirable, but not essential.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing direct support to the production team by logging interviews and actuality shoots.
  • Logging footage accurately and to deadlines set by the production team, plus ad hoc additional editorial tasks.
  • Using Avid Media Composer to view content and to help create selects
  • Organising logs so that they are easily accessible by the production team
  • Proactively suggest storylines and moments to be included in the final edits.
  • Becoming an authority on rushes, able to find certain shots and moments at short notice.



Please note that responsibilities may be amended, added to, or removed to reflect the changing needs of the production or organisation.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Logger
    on HETV and/or feature-length content.
  • Experience working on archive-heavy projects, with a focus on logging Formula 1 content desirable
  • Experience working on archive-heavy projects.
  • Basic working knowledge of Avid Media Composer.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with an ability to stay calm, clear, and methodical under pressure.
  • A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for creative storytelling.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
  • Strong editorial sense and understanding of desirable storylines.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills



Location:

The base for this position will be Kew, London.

 

Working Day:

Five-day working week: all five days in the office

Flexibility may be required in line with production schedules.

Lieu days will be provided for any days worked beyond the standard week.

Flexitime is available, subject to production requirements.

 

Start:

ASAP for 8 weeks.
