Job DetailsJob Location: Precision Plumbing - TRAVERSE CITY, MI 49684Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 Base+Commission/year a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } The Commercial HVAC Estimator is responsible for estimating commercial projects and planning, coordinating, executing, maintaining, and managing an effective field construction organization utilizing the necessary labor, equipment, materials, tools, subcontractors and other resources to effectively perform the scope of work within an allotted budget and time schedule. What You’ll Do Estimate plumbing and HVAC systems for custom residential construction projects Review plans, specs, and builder expectations to develop accurate, competitive bids Collaborate with builders, project managers, and internal teams to ensure scope clarity Identify opportunities for value engineering without sacrificing quality Build and maintain strong relationships with builders and developers Work closely with operations to ensure smooth handoff from estimate to execution What We’re Looking For Experience estimating plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical systems (custom homes preferred) Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability Proven strength utilizing spreadsheets and/or estimating software Experience designing efficient ductwork layout within code guidelines Excellent communication skills—internally and with builders Self motivated to build new relationships and nurture established ones A mindset of ownership and pride in your work Why Precision Established reputation with top builders in the region Work on high-end, custom residential projects A company that is growing intentionally, not cutting corners Strong internal team support across estimating, operations, and field leadership A culture that values craftsmanship, accountability, and doing things right Qualifications
