Description

PACE North is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide both in-center and in-home therapy services to our elderly participants.

PACE stands for Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly. We provide a unique, comprehensive care model for individuals aged 55 and older who qualify for nursing facility-level care but wish to remain in their homes as they age.Ā 


About the Role - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

  • Deliver occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an OTĀ 
  • Facilitate wellness and restorative programsĀ 
  • Support participants in reaching therapy goalsĀ 
  • Assist with equipment ordering and implementationĀ 
  • Provide staff and family training Ā

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree from an ACOTE or WFOT accredited OT programĀ 
  • Michigan COTA LicenseĀ 
  • Valid driver’s license (travel required)Ā 
  • 1 year of experience with geriatric populations preferredĀ 
  • Clinical competency with older adults and basic computing skills
