Position Summary
Our Van Driver picks up products from our Traverse City markets and delivers them to our Northport Market. They then stock those items, place orders, and assist other departments as needed. They may also occasionally drive our box truck.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. Â
- Be responsible for the pick-up and delivery of sale product and inter market mail.
- Fill out paperwork to document deliveries.Â
- Place orders for Deli and Bakery departments.
- Maintain a clean vehicle.
Requirements
- Current Driver's License and clean driving record.
- CDL is helpful but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic English reading, writing, and communication skills
- Reliable, team-oriented, and professional attitude
Compensation
- Starting wage - $17.00. May be higher depending on previous experience and CDL certification.
- Medical, Short Term, Long Term, and Company Paid Life Insurance after 30 days.
- 401(k) with Company Match after 90 days.
- Same Day Pay available.
