Parking AttendantÂ

General Overview:Â With guidance from the Parking Supervisor, parking attendants are responsible for efficiently directing traffic and maintaining order within parking lots surrounding Turtle Creek Stadium before, during, and after events.
Â
Principle duties and responsibilities include:
- Welcoming and engaging with guests as they enter and exit the property.
- Taking cashless payment at entry points for Pit Spitters games and other stadium events.
- Safely guiding and directing traffic within lots and surrounding areas.
- Monitoring restricted lot entrances and directing traffic to open lots.
- Answering questions and directing spectators to stadium entry gates.
- Following instructions and parking plans provided by parking supervisor and Pit Spitters management.
- Executing exit parking plans at conclusion of Pit Spitters games and non-baseball events.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Must be able to communicate effectively with spectators, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Must be willing to work in both a team setting as well as alone in certain areas.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment around moving traffic.
- Must be able to understand written and/or verbal instructions.
- Must be able to work evenings, nights, weekends, and occasional days according to baseball and stadium events schedules.
- Must be punctual to call times and meeting assignments.

Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Must have a heightened sense of awareness and ability to move while working in and around moving traffic.
- While performing duties, the employee is often required to walk, climb stairs, reach, kneel, lift, or crouch.
- Must be able to communicate effectively via two-way radio.
- Must wear Hi-Vis safety vest and other safety apparel.
