About the Role:
If you are a recent college grad or have childcare experience this is a great opportunity for you. We are looking for a passionate and nurturing PreK Teacher to join our dedicated team in Wayne, PA! This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners during their most formative years, fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning from the very start.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children
- Monitor and assess each child's developmental progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth and milestones
- Incorporate play-based learning, social-emotional development, and early literacy activities
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Prior experience working with preschool or PreK-aged children in a classroom setting
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and early childhood curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and colleagues
- Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine passion for early education
- Current or ability to obtain required PA state clearances (FBI, Child Abuse, Criminal)
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
