Opportunity Overview

Job Summary

Janitor position is responsible for keeping all areas clean, organized, and sanitary to eliminate cross contamination and prevent hazards so that there is a clean and safe work environment for all team members, potential team members, vendors, visitors and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum and buff floors.
• Clear floors of all foreign objects.
• Clean locker area and around vending machines.
• Empty and sanitize all recycle receptacles and replace liners.
• Take recycling out to dispose of in the assigned area.
• Refill sanitizer and air fresheners.
• CLean windows and doors.
• Clean air vents.
• Retrieve and stock material from dry storage.
• Clean security, USDA, quality, supervisor area, training and maintenance areas.
• Change out rugs.
• Clean office areas and breakrooms including desks, tables, microwaves, refrigerators etc.
• Clean all bathrooms including sinks, toilets, urinals, walls, mirrors and floors.
• Poor water down the office bathroom drains twice daily.
• Clean and pick up smoke areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Experience: No previous experience is necessary. 
• Age: Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships are available.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical Abilities:
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including above the head and below the waist.
• Environmental: Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.  Must be able to work with chemicals and willing and able to handle blood borne pathogens.
• Flexibility: Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
• Compliance: Must practice good personal hygiene. Candidates must successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen, physical and E-Verify.
