What does an Express Technician at Hoffman Auto Group do?   

Role Purpose
Repair vehicles in an efficient and ethical manner under the supervision of a Flat-Rate Technician and/or Shop Foreman.

Leadership 
This position does not lead others.

Core Accountabilities

1. Read and understand customer complaints; diagnose and advise findings; complete all authorized repairs in accordance with manufacturer and company policy; return warranty parts to parts dept and road test vehicles as needed to verify completion of repairs.
2. Properly document all repairs using both internet-based tools and physical Repair Order documentation as instructed per department requirements
3. Learn how to utilize computer to remain up to date on manufacturer recalls and/or technical data. 4. Complete training required set by the manager.
4. Maintain a clean and neat work area. Perform daily inspections of your work area.
5. Stay compliant with all safety and OSHA regulations.
6. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Competencies and Qualifications

1. Valid drivers license
2. High School Diploma
3. 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service orientated environment preferred
4. Can adapt and embrace change with an internal and external customer centric mindset
5. Works well with customers, promotes a positive image of the company, strives to solve issues raised by customers.
