Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Onsite – Trenton, SC 29847

Overview
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support continuous improvement and automation initiatives in a manufacturing environment. This onsite role focuses on PLC programming, electrical control systems, and equipment optimization while collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Modify and improve existing equipment for automation and continuous improvement
  • Design, develop, and support electrical control systems
  • Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and servo drives
  • Support production and maintenance teams with equipment issues
  • Manage contractors and maintenance technicians for project execution
  • Work with vendors and equipment designers on technical requirements
  • Manage capital and expense budgets to meet plant objectives
  • Ensure equipment safety and compliance with NFPA 70E standards
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial automation or manufacturing
  • Strong experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and Rockwell software
  • PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
  • Knowledge of industrial Ethernet and machine networks
  • Understanding of equipment safety, risk assessments, and arc flash requirements
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter mindset
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
  • Experience managing contractors and cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
