Job DetailsJob Location: Trenton, FL 32693The Inventory Specialist manages inventory movement, maintains accurate stock levels, and coordinates closely with Purchasing Manager to ensure material availability and operational efficiency. This role requires strong attention to detail, disciplined recordkeeping, and consistent accuracy across all inventory processes. Role Overview Maintain inventory integrity by processing adjustments, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting branch replenishment. Compile reports, audit stock, and ensure accurate documentation across all locations. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Accuracy & Recordkeeping Maintain accurate records within NetSuite. Process inventory adjustments, product waste, manual trim builds, and item fulfillments. Initiate and conduct monthly coil and flats cycle counts on the first Monday of each month (or next business day if a holiday). Complete annual cycle counts prior to year-end ensuring all production and transactions are accounted for. Investigate discrepancies exceeding standards for accessory items. Internal Customer Service & Replenishment Process weekly cycle counts for each location and verify totals through the cycle count schedule. Replenish branch inventory daily through transfers based on max levels. Create and track inventory transfers between locations to maintain accurate totals. Notify Purchasing of Sales Orders that cannot ship due to count discrepancies. Maintain a credit memo list and follow up on refunds for accurate pricing, quantities, and status. Transfer inventory to correct locations as needed. Safety & Equipment Care Follow all warehouse safety procedures and PPE requirements. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of obstructions. Operational Excellence & Metrics Support customer service improvements through disciplined operating rhythm and accurate reporting. Maintain highly accurate and timely performance. QualificationsRequired Skills & Qualifications 21 years old is required for driving purposes. Must have a Valid driver’s license. Understanding of business fundamentals Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel Team‑focused mindset with strong collaboration skills Service‑oriented approach to improve processes Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking ability Effective communication, listening, and conflict‑resolution skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, NetSuite, and ability to learn additional programs Knowledge in RF Smart or other inventory management software Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted High school diploma or equivalent Minimum two years of inventory management or related experience (preferred) Ideal Traits Organized, accurate, and detail‑driven Strong analytical and investigative mindset Reliable, proactive, and improvement‑focused Able to manage multiple tasks without sacrificing precision
