Overview:

Our team is growing! We are seeing an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal who has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all phases of case workups including pre-litigation and litigation. Successful candidates will be proficient in legal software, have excellent communication skills and have a knack for time management.  

This is a full-time position that will be onsite in one of our main office locations.  We are in-office 5 days a week, Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm. 

Responsibilities 

  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, appellate documents and legal memoranda. 
  • E-file court documents in both state and federal courts. 
  • Communicate effectively with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders. 
  • Conduct legal research and factual investigations. 
  • Prepare discovery documents, including interrogatories and responses. 
  • Draft and serve summons. 
  • Coordinate and schedule depositions. 
  • Work with legal assistant to prepare trial binders and exhibits. 
  • Organize, maintain and manage indexes for pleadings, discovery, exhibits, evidence, briefs and appendices.  
  • Support attorney with all requests. 
  • Act as liaison between experts, defense attorneys and vendors. 
  • Assist with witness preparation. 
  • Provide support in case settlements. 
  • Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet the business needs. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 5+ years of experience in Personal Injury 
  • Proficiency in legal software and legal databases (Litify, eCourts, etc.) 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to ethical standards. 
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and technologies. 
  • Relevant understanding of legal research methodologies. 
  • Relevant certifications or licenses related to paralegal studies preferred. 
Compensation Range:
$70,000—$80,000 USD

Compensation: The base salary or hourly range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to; prior relevant experience, business needs and market factors. Additionally, salary wages are only part of the total compensation package.
