Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility
  • Obtain and record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other patient care data as directed
  • Assist nursing staff with patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and repositioning
  • Maintain patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times
  • Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
  • Ensure patient rooms and care areas remain clean, organized, and properly stocked
  • Support infection prevention and safety protocols
  • Provide compassionate care and excellent customer service to patients and families
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • CNA certification preferred
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Previous healthcare or patient care experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to safely lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed
