Job Summary: 

 

Genesis Global Group (GGG) is a consortium of entities and institutes, in the fields of biotechnology, hospitality, real-estate investment and development, manufacturing and health care. GGG has multiple locations domestically and internationally.

 

Job Duties:

 

    • Assist with the review and drafting of letters, contracts, and other legal documents
    • Complete applications for insurance coverage, respond to insurance audits, and support the insurance claims process
    • Apply for and maintain governmental and commercial healthcare managed care provider agreements utilizing online portals and address claim denials by appeal or letter
    • Submit online registrations and renewals to governmental regulatory agencies
    • Support all Departments with responses to regulatory and compliance related issues
    • Review and refer medical records subpoenas
    • Handle entity formations and dissolutions, prepare, file and/or obtain related documents
    • Assist in preparing and reviewing legal documents related to real estate transactions, including contracts, leases, and title documents, and support due diligence and closing processes
    • Provide administrative and organization support for corporate-related projects
    • Conduct legal research and assist with special projects as needed
    • Perform related job duties as required

 

Qualifications: 

    • Paralegal experience or certification; BA/BS degree is a plus but not required.
    • 3 - 5 years of experience with an in-house legal department preferred
    • Strong computer skills in Word, Outlook, and Excel  
    • Ability to perform legal research using Lexis-Nexis and other research tools
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Problem solving ability
    • Excellent work ethics, interpersonal skills, flexibility and enthusiasm to see projects through to completion
