Personal Lines Associate- Part Time Student Worker

Our Personal Lines department is currently interviewing for part time associates to answer and respond to inbound telephone calls from current policyholders, providing the superior customer service for which we are known. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience in the insurance industry while working toward completing your college education. This position will begin on June 22, 2026. The hours for the position will flex Monday through Saturday and may be scheduled around a student’s academic obligations in an associates, bachelors, or master’s program. The average hours for the position are 15 to 20 hours per week.

The starting compensation for this opportunity is $22.00/hr. The training for this role will be full-time in person; however, the successful candidate will be able to work a hybrid, part-time schedule once training is completed (requiring at least one day a week in the office).

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver a high-quality customer experience while interacting with customers and administering transactions.
• Provide procedurally accurate, effective, and independent response to existing business inquiries related to Personal Lines Insurance.
• Demonstrate effective time management to achieve performance goals, which include completing necessary follow ups and workflow transactions in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform additional duties within the department as needed.

Requirements:

• An actively enrolled student in an accredited associates, bachelor’s, or master’s degree program, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of computers including accurate keyboarding skills
• Superior listening skills
• Strong multi-tasking ability
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a home high-speed internet connection.
• Must have a home workspace which is free of noise and distraction
• Prior customer service experience
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Commutable to our West Trenton, NJ office

The Personal Lines Associate role can pay $21-$22 an hour.

Part Time employees are eligible for Paid Sick Leave and PTO as well as state-mandated Leave policies.  Employees may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
