⚡ Why This Role Exists

This isn’t a traditional sales support position—and it’s not a pure engineering role either.

This role sits at the intersection of:

  • Electrical systems
  • Life safety compliance
  • Real-world application

You will take electrical designs, specifications, and intent—and turn them into code-compliant, buildable, real-world solutions that perform when it matters most.

If you like solving problems that actually get installed in buildings—and matter in emergency situations—you’ll feel right at home here.

What You’ll Do

  • Interpret one-line diagrams, panel schedules, and system intent to define scope and performance

⚙️ Own the Application

  • Evaluate how systems perform under normal and emergency power conditions
  • Apply and ensure compliance with NFPA, NEC, IBC, UL 924, and related standards
  • Identify design gaps, inconsistencies, and potential compliance risks early

Be the Technical Bridge

  • Work closely with sales, engineering, and customers to clarify requirements and align solutions
  • Translate technical concepts into practical, real-world applications
  • Support customer-facing technical discussions when needed (no selling required)

️ Solve Real Problems

  • Provide application-level technical support and troubleshooting
  • Own issues through resolution—partnering across teams to get it done
  • Ensure final solutions are accurate, functional, and aligned with project intent

Support Smart Solutions (Not Just Perfect Ones)

  • Develop proposals and submittals that are technically sound and practical
  • Maintain awareness of product capabilities and application constraints to support effective outcomes

What Success Looks Like

  • Your quotes are accurate, compliant, and actionable
  • Sales trusts you because your solutions actually work
  • Engineering respects you because you “get it”
