Job DetailsJob Location: Fort Jackson, SC 29207Salary Range: $22.49 - $22.49General Summary Performs general maintenance and repair of Heating and Cooling systems, Playgrounds and Kitchen equipment at DODEA schools and office buildings. Perform preventive maintenance requirements on equipment as it pertains to the position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Replace air filters on a variety of different heating and cooling systems. Replace water filters on kitchen equipment and water fountains Work with team members to Maintain, repair or replace playground equipment Repair, patch or replace playground playing surface Performs general maintenance on equipment and machinery. Work along with team members to maintain, repair or replace various heating and cooling systems. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements GED or High School Graduate 3 years’ experience doing general maintenance work in a commercial facility Experience working in an outdoor or indoor building environment Able to understand verbal or written direction from lead, supervisor or other craftsmen Attendance is required to be successful Work Environment Must be able to lift 50 lbs., squat, bend, stoop and kneel for short periods, climb a ladder, stand for long periods of time, constant arm extensions. Occasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, but none to the point of being disagreeable.
