Summary

We are looking for a Lead, Quality Assurance to establish, implement, and periodically evaluate the Quality Management System to ensure the organization’s maintenance, capital projects and turnarounds, maintain compliance with all project specifications, drawings, codes, standards, and all federal, state, and local requirements. 

This role will support engineering, operations and maintenance for quality assurance related activities.

General Description Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Quality Oversite of all construction activities performed by contractors and sub-contractors. 
  • Review and approve Project Quality Procedures, and Inspection and Test Plans to be implemented on the project site. 
  • Review quality control documentation such as checklists, logs, and reports for effectiveness, accuracy, and relevance. 
  • Where necessary, issue Corrective Action and Non-Conformance reports. 
  • Review of Final Record Books for compliance. 
  • Manages the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules and ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits.
  • Ensuring compliance with current regulations.
  • Monitoring and reporting on all contractor Quality Control activities, processes, and procedures.
  • Performing regular inspections and reviews to ensure employees adhere to quality and safety policies.
  • Assisting with the development of company policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Providing departments with quality planning and support.
  • Preparing and maintaining quality management documentation.

Qualifications

Required experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Quality field.
  • Experience in LNG liquefaction facilities preferred. 
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks, work within project deadlines and adjust as priorities change. 
  • Possess the ability to mentor others through technical training and guidance. 
  • Have the ability to read and interpret engineer drawings to include P&IDs, Civil/Structural plans and details, Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Piping Isometrics, etc. 
  • Broad knowledge and understating of all industry codes, standards, and industry best practices. 
  • Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills.
