Your Role

As a Member Relationship Officer, you'll be the primary relationship builder for our new Troutdale branch. Think Universal Banker / Personal Banker with an emphasis on member and loan growth. You'll proactively identify opportunities to deepen member relationships, grow deposits and consumer lending, and help new and existing members achieve their financial goals. You'll combine exceptional service with consultative sales skills, helping members discover products and services that genuinely meet their needs.

This role will be based at our new Troutdale branch once it opens later this year. Prior to the Troutdale opening, training and onboarding may take place at our NE Portland location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consistently identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through thoughtful recommendations of lending, deposit, and digital banking solutions
  • Provide exceptional member service across in‑branch, phone, and digital channels
  • Open new accounts and process account maintenance and member requests
  • Interview members for consumer loans, recommend options, and prepare loan documents
  • Assist members with online banking, ITMs, and other electronic services
  • Generate referrals for mortgage and home equity products based on member need

  • Likes balancing exceptional service with measurable business results
  • Takes pride in growing membership, loans, and financial relationships through trusted advice

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success building member/client relationships and identifying opportunities to meet financial needs
  • Comfortable discussing products and services and making recommendations based on member goals
  • Strong service mindset combined with the ability to contribute to branch growth objectives
  • Experience with consumer lending, new account opening, or branch sales goals preferred

The successful candidate will bring both a strong service mindset and a proven ability to grow relationships through new accounts, consumer lending, and product referrals. Sound like you? Let's talk!
