The Apprentice Tech will report to the Service Manager and will work onsite at the dealerships auto shop.

What You'll Do

  • Assist technicians with vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs
  • Perform basic maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and multipoint inspections
  • Learn diagnostic and repair procedures under the guidance of experienced technicians
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Use and maintain shop equipment and tools
  • Complete work according to dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Document services performed and recommendations
  • Participate in development programs
  • Support team members in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Follow all safety procedures

What You'll Bring

  • 0-1 year of experience in an automotive shop
  • Interest in automotive maintenance
  • Work in quick environment
  • Previous automotive education, dealership experience, or vocational training
  • Enrollment in or completion of an automotive training program
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with automotive tools
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
