About the role
We are seeking a highly organized and empathetic Social Security Case Manager to support our clients through the disability benefits process. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, case management experience, and the ability to handle high-volume, deadline-driven work. Arabic or Chaldean language fluency is required due to client population needs.
Key responsibilities:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manage a caseload of 600+ Social Security disability cases in coordination with assigned attorneys
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and guidance
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Communicate professionally with SSA, DDS, clients, and medical providers
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Track and manage deadlines for various stages (Initial, Recon, ALJ, AC, USDC)
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Submit evidence and documentation through SSA鈥檚 ERE system and internal case management tools (Prevail, Assure)
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Conduct pre-hearing final development calls with clients and ensure complete case files for hearings
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure briefs and required documents are submitted on time in partnership with attorneys
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Flag and follow up on missing medical records or outstanding documentation with records team
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Consistently discuss and track MSS (Medical Source Statements) across all relevant cases
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Collaborate closely with intake, records, and legal teams to resolve case issues proactively
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support tracking and reporting of department-wide performance metrics
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain accurate, up-to-date case notes and documentation in Prevail
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
1.聽聽聽聽聽聽Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate鈥檚 or bachelor鈥檚 degree in social work, legal studies, or related field preferred.
- At least one year of experience in case management, social services, or customer service.
- Prior experience with USDC cases is a plus.
2.聽聽聽聽聽聽Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software.
- Attention to detail in preparing and reviewing medical documents.
3.聽聽聽聽聽聽Interpersonal Abilities:
- Empathy and patience when working with clients with disabilities.
- Ability to build strong professional relationships with clients, attorneys, and agency representatives.
4.聽聽聽聽聽聽Problem-Solving:
- Proactive in addressing case issues and resolving client concerns.
- Knowledge of Social Security disability processes or willingness to learn.
Compensation: $19-$25/hour
Work Environment & Benefits:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Hybrid schedule (2-3 days a week in office, 2-3 days remote) available after training: (5 days a week in office for a minimum of 2-3 weeks)
