Job Description:

Join a collaborative, hands‑on laboratory environment where your technical skills directly support Production, Quality, R&D Formulation Engineering, and Applications teams. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in analyzing products, testing new formulations, and contributing to meaningful engineering projects.

What You’ll Do

As a Chemistry Lab Technician, you will:

Work with a diverse suite of analytical and metallurgical instruments, including:

- Optical Emission Spectrometers

- Navy Train

- Leco RC-612

- Leco CS-744 & CS-200

- Leco ON-736

- Humidity Chamber

- Melt Button

- Hardness Tester (HRC)

- Microhardness Tester

- Metallography equipment: abrasive saw, polisher, mounting press

You’ll operate, calibrate, maintain, and repair these systems and follow all applicable cleaning procedures.

Support Lab Operations

- Track inventory of consumables.

- Monitor turnaround times using the TrackVia program.

- Transport samples using a transit van when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, organized workspace.

- Consistent use of required PPE.

- Safety‑conscious mindset.

- Ability to prepare samples using industrial equipment.

- Lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.

- Strong time‑management and prioritization skills.

- Team‑oriented mindset.

- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.

- Willingness to cross‑train in Lab Service Areas.
