Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Landscaper to maintain and enhance the outdoor areas of our properties in the Albany area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for lawn care, plant maintenance, seasonal clean-up, and ensuring the grounds remain aesthetically appealing and safe for residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine landscaping maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding.
• Plant, prune, and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees as needed.
• Apply mulch, fertilizer, and pest control treatments in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Maintain irrigation systems and ensure proper watering schedules.
• Remove leaves, debris, and snow as necessary for seasonal upkeep.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Assist with hardscaping projects, including walkway repairs and minor landscaping installations.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Report any landscaping issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of plant care, lawn maintenance, and irrigation systems.
• Ability to operate landscaping tools and equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., perform repetitive motions, and work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license is required, travel is required to local Albany properties.
