Unity House of Troy’s Domestic Violence Program is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Non-Residential OVS Liaison to provide crisis intervention, support, and referrals to victims and survivors of domestic violence in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency assistance to victims and survivors of domestic violence seeking services.
  • Offer emotional support, crisis intervention, and safety planning.
  • Complete referrals and establish linkages to supportive community services.
  • Conduct scheduling and administrative tasks, including participation in case conferences to develop solutions.
  • Complete all contract, documentation, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, which includes some nights and weekends.
  • Promote and support a work culture that values inclusion, diversity, and respect.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least one year of experience working with domestic violence preferred.
  • Associate’s degree with two or more years of domestic violence experience will be considered.
  • High school diploma or GED with four or more years of relevant experience will be considered.
  • Valid, clean New York State driver’s license required.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
