As a Physical Therapist under the general supervision of the Manager of Inpatient Rehab, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting initial patient evaluations, reassessments, and discharge summaries for diverse populations.
  • Administering treatments based on evaluations and reassessments.
  • Completing documentation promptly and maintaining departmental productivity standards.
  • Delegating tasks appropriately to team members.
  • Participating in the case management of rehabilitation services.
  • Performing non-clinical tasks to support smooth daily operations.
  • Engaging in one to two departmental, hospital, or community programs/meetings.
  • Teaching, orienting, training, supervising, and mentoring co-workers, new employees, volunteers, and a minimum of one student annually.


Qualifications:

  • Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program required.
  • Current Physical Therapist license for the state of Ohio required.
  • BLS certification required within 30-days of hire
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to problem-solve, plan, and prioritize.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in various situations.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Demonstrates a positive and constructive attitude, initiative, dependability, cooperation, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adherence to the Code of Ethical Conduct as defined by the APTA's Code of Ethics.
