Truckee Tavern is looking for a reliable, skilled Line/Prep Cook to join our daytime kitchen crew. If you love the energy of a busy lunch rush, take pride in a clean station, and want a consistent schedule that actually lets you have your evenings free, we want to talk to you.

What You’ll Do:
- Prep for Success: Knock out daily prep for lunch and help set up the dinner crew for success (sauces, proteins, veggies).
- Rock the Line: Own your station during the busy lunch push with urgency and focus.
- Master the Grill: Execute proteins and grill items consistently to standard.
- Keep it Clean: Maintain an organized, sanitary station before, during, and after service.
- Be a Team Player: Support other stations when needed and communicate clearly with the team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid experience on the line (strong grill experience is a major plus).
- A prep-focused mindset—you know that a smooth service starts with great prep.
- Reliability. You show up on time, ready to work with a positive attitude.
- Ability to follow recipes, systems, and food safety standards.
