ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Guest Service Agent / Night Auditor, you are the first and last point of contact for our guests. You play an essential role in delivering outstanding service from arrival through departure while ensuring the accuracy of nightly financial reporting and front desk operations.

You will also be responsible for: 


Guest Service & Front Desk Operations

  • Providing a smooth and well-coordinated check-in and check-out experience, including greeting guests, assisting with luggage, conducting room/property tours, and coordinating departure logistics.
  • Anticipating guest needs and coordinating with other departments to fulfill requests promptly and professionally.
  • Assisting with guest inquiries, reservations, and special requests in person and over the phone.
  • Scheduling and confirming guest wake-up calls, activities, spa services, dining reservations, and excursions.
  • Performing room inspections and placing welcome notes and itineraries in guest rooms.
  • Handling retail transactions and processing spa, guide, retail, and room charges accurately.
  • Addressing guest feedback and resolving concerns with professionalism and discretion.

Night Audit & Accounting Responsibilities

  • Performing nightly audit procedures, verifying daily transactions, and reconciling guest folios.
  • Preparing and validating the daily status report and ensuring all charges are properly posted.
  • Processing credit card authorizations, folio adjustments, and payments.
  • Maintaining accurate cash handling procedures, including recording tips, balancing the cash drawer, and securing cash/check deposits.
  • Assisting in maintaining accurate financial and operational records.

Property & Operational Support

  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front desk, lobby, entrance, and public restrooms, including sweeping, mopping, sanitizing fixtures, and emptying trash.
  • Assisting with spa laundry duties, including collecting, washing, drying, folding, and restocking linens and robes.
  • Assisting with preparation of hot mineral soaks as needed.
  • Supporting overall property operations and performing additional duties as assigned.

  • A management or supervisory position

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

  1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 
  2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  3. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and provide exceptional service to guests.
  4. Primarily overnight availability required, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Typical schedule includes overnight hours (approximately 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM), with flexibility to work day and evening shifts as needed to support front desk operations.
  5. You’ll need to present documentation establishing both identity and employment authorization within three days of hire pursuant to federal law.

Preferred:

  1. Education in hospitality or related field.
  2. Experience working in a luxury hospitality setting.
  3. Proficiency in computer systems and hotel management software.

On an occasional basis, you can be expected to sit. 

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

You will regularly be required to work long hours in an office/reception area and at a computer.  You may occasionally be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
