The group you’ll be a part of

The Business resilience team in Operations Excellence Solutions organization creates an integrated approach to business resilience and leads the corporation in implementing sound strategies to meet recovery time objectives approved by the board of directors.

The impact you’ll make

A Business Resilience Program Manager collaborates with leaders across the enterprise to identify risks and critical functions, build plans for their recovery, test and maintain these plans, assist executive leaders in validating the state of their preparedness and measures the company's business continuity objectives. Becoming a part of this team provides an opportunity to work across the company, assisting business units and the executive office to increase the level of readiness during a business disruption to meet commitment for customers, the Company, and fellow employees. 

What you’ll do

The Business Resilience Program Manager will:

  • Use their acumen in semiconductor manufacturing to identify and mitigate business continuity risks to engineering, manufacturing, and support functions.
  • Lead business continuity initiatives and ensure successful completion of the test and maintenance of Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP). Provide business partners with visibility of program milestones and status of progress.
  • Design and facilitate BCP validations through planned exercises and relevant scenarios for functional organizations documenting lessons learned and actions to close gaps identified.
  • Consolidate complex information regarding ongoing actions and/or assigned projects into appropriate written summaries and/or verbal briefings for key stakeholders. Support customer survey response initiatives, ensuring timely data compilation in collaboration with subject matter experts and completion of relevant responses within a predetermined time.
  • The successful candidate will need strong semiconductor industry experience and the ability to manage a broad range of projects simultaneously and interact effectively with all levels of personnel globally.
  • Collaborate globally with cross-functional stakeholders. Initiate and take part in continuous improvement projects (CIP) to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness. Need to be creative, strategically adept, meticulous, and capable of synthesizing and abstracting complex information into clear messages for the global functional executives.
  • The candidate must possess strong experience driving cross-organizational projects to resolution and the ability to work well in cross-organizational and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong business acumen, technical savviness, stakeholder management, and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects with distributed regional teams (matrix environment)

Key strengths include discipline, diligence, organizational skills, program/project management, proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point, and the ability to influence at all levels of an organization. 

Who we’re looking for

Professional Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 12 years of related experience and 7 years’ business continuity management responsibility preferably in the semiconductor industry. 
  • Consistent performance demonstrated over years of applying and improving business continuity professional practices in the semiconductor (or similar) industry including risk evaluation and control, impact analysis, business continuity strategies, emergency response, BCPs, training programs, BCP exercises, audit and maintenance and crisis communications.
  • Willingness to provide on-call management support during crises, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced global environment with flexible work hours.
  • Possess problem solving and analytical skills. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s in engineering or equivalent
  • CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) or MBCP (Master Business Continuity Professional) certification or equivalent
  • Master’s degree or equivalent preferred

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
