We are searching for a Warehouse Supervisor in Tucker, Ga.

 

The Warehouse Supervisor will help lead daily warehouse operations while driving safety, productivity, quality, and overall performance on the floor. This position will primarily operate as a mid-shift leadership role, providing supervision and operational support across both 1st and 2nd shift activities. The role serves as a key link between shifts to ensure continuity of operations, consistent execution of standards, and effective communication across departments.

In addition to managing daily operations during the assigned shift, this position will serve as a relief supervisor, providing leadership coverage for either 1st or 2nd shift as business needs, vacations, training, or other staffing requirements arise.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support warehouse associates across receiving, inventory, wire, picking, packing, shipping, and other operational functions as assigned.
  • Provide leadership coverage during overlap periods between 1st and 2nd shift to ensure seamless transition of work and priorities.
  • Serve as a relief supervisor for 1st or 2nd shift operations when needed.
  • Monitor workflow and labor allocation to ensure productivity and service goals are achieved.
  • Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable to safety, attendance, quality, and performance expectations.
  • Conduct daily floor walks and maintain visibility throughout the operation.
  • Support inventory accuracy through proper process execution, cycle counts, and location discipline.
  • Assist with problem-solving and operational decision-making to maintain customer service levels.
  • Monitor and communicate key operational metrics including productivity, quality, safety, and service performance.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
  • Participate in training, onboarding, and development of warehouse associates.
  • Maintain effective communication between shifts to ensure continuity and operational alignment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience supervising hourly employees in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems, RF technology, and Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Forklift and material handling equipment experience preferred.
  • Experience in an electrical distribution environment preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

Schedule

This position is primarily a mid-shift supervisory role designed to support both 1st and 2nd shift operations. Schedule flexibility is required, as the supervisor may be assigned to provide leadership coverage on either shift based on operational needs, staffing requirements, vacations, or special projects.
