Schedule: Monday - Friday | 06:00 AM – 02:30 PM | Overtime Available

Pay Rate: $18 - 23/ hour

What You'll do 

The Welder is responsible for cutting, fitting, and joining metals and materials to produce high-quality components for automotive applications. This role reads blueprint drawings to plan layout, and weld components to specification. The Welder must be proficient in 2G TIG welding on thin materials, our primary welding method, as well as other welding processes as needed. 

• Read blueprints and drawings and take measurements to plan layout and welding procedures
• Determine appropriate welding equipment and method based on job requirements
• Set up components for welding according to specifications, including cutting material with powered saws to match measurements
• Build and interpret fixtures and jigs as needed
• Operate angle grinders to prepare parts for welding
• Align and clamp components using calipers, tape measures, rulers, and other measurement tools
• Weld components using manual and semi-automatic welding equipment in multiple positions (vertical, horizontal)
• Repair machinery and components by welding and filling gaps
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify flaws
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous welding experience required.
• Welding certification required.
• Strong attention to detail, technical precision, and safety awareness.

Physical Requirements

This position may require sitting, standing or walking for extended periods, occasionally lifting materials up to 50 pounds, repetitive bending and reaching, and safely operating potentially dangerous equipment.
