What You’ll Do In this role, you will support a range of accounting and tax activities while building foundational expertise and client-facing skills. You will analyze financial statements and records to identify discrepancies and recommend appropriate accounting treatments, ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data, and assist with preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and businesses. The position also involves conducting tax research, communicating findings and financial insights clearly to clients, and serving as a point of contact for assigned workflows. You will collaborate with senior team members on more complex engagements, manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and contribute to improving processes and overall operational efficiency. Analyze financial statements and identify discrepancies, trends, and adjustments Apply GAAP and firm standards to recommend appropriate accounting treatments Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and supporting documentation Prepare individual, partnership, and business tax returns Identify tax issues and recommend solutions under senior guidance Conduct tax research and apply findings to client engagements Communicate directly with clients regarding financial and tax matters Serve as a point of contact for assigned client workstreams Collaborate with senior team members on complex engagements Manage multiple assignments and prioritize deadlines effectively Identify process improvements and contribute to operational efficiencies What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of relevant accounting or tax experience (internships included) CPA or actively pursuing CPA preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., CCH, Lacerte, UltraTax) preferred Strong understanding of accounting principles and professional judgment Analytical and problem-solving skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities What We Offer Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (Coverage begins on the first of the month following your start date.)
